Massimo Aragiusto

Massimo has been practising law for over thirty years, with the right of audience before the Higher Courts, carrying out his professional activity mainly in Florence, Bologna, and Milan. Over the course of his career, he has developed solid and well-established expertise in providing full-service legal assistance to companies, delivering highly qualified advisory services and coordinating in-house legal departments as well as teams of external professionals for large enterprises, also acting as General Counsel for litigation.

His professional activity, initially focused on labour law, has progressively expanded to include commercial and corporate law, as well as M&A transactions, insolvency law, compliance, and, more recently, contracts and public procurement, both in judicial and extrajudicial matters.

He assists companies from the start-up phase, providing support in the organisation and development of their business activities and advising them throughout all stages of management, from contractual negotiations with private parties to proceedings before regulatory bodies and public authorities.

He is an Associate Professor and, since 2006, has held the Chair of Labour Law at the Department of Economics and Business (DISEI) of the University of Florence. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Contratto e Impresa, and a member of AGI – Italian Employment Lawyers Association, and AIDLaSS – Italian Association of Labour Law and Social Security.

He is the author of the monograph Dinamiche regole della concorrenza (Cedam, 2006) and of the textbook Lavoro e Impresa (Giappichelli, 2025), as well as numerous essays and articles, and regularly speaks at conferences and professional seminars.
